The First People's Hospital of Jiande (Jiande Hospital) was established in November 1968.
And it is the only one middle first-class comprehensive hospital in Jiande and even in the Western Zhejiang Province.
The hospital is affiliated with the Zhejiang Medical College (Hangzhou Medical College) as well as the Zhejiang Civilization Hospital, Zhejiang Green Hospital, Zhejiang Health Promotion Hospital, Zhejiang Ping'an Hospital,National Baby-friendly Hospital and International Emergency Rescue Network Hospital.
In 2013, Jiande Hospital became The Second Affiliated Hospital,Medical School of Zhejiang University (Jiande Branch) ,In the same year, it became the Cooperative Hospital of (Taiwan) The Chung Shan Medical University Hospital;
In August 2015,Jiande Hospital passed the international JCI review with a fairly high score and became the first hospital that pass the JCI certification in Hangzhou area;In September 2015,our hospital became the first banch of national Stroke Center;
In November 2016,our hospital passed the Chinese primary Chest Pain Center firstly in Zhejiang Province ,and responsible for guiding all primary hospitals to constraction the Chest Pain Center throughout the province.
In September 2017 ,it became the only county hospital that pass the international HIMSS 6 certification during that time;
In December 2017, it became the first hospital to achieve the national electronic medical record application level 5 certification in Zhejiang province.
In July 2018, it became the first county hospital in the province to pass the sixth review of JCI.
At present, the hospital covers an area of 100 acres, has 670 beds, 35 clinical subjects and 12 clinical medical technology departments.

The hospital pay more attention on “subject construction and technology innovation”,Cardiovascular Medicine Department and Intensive Medicine Department were rate as the ZheJiang Province(city) Leading Subject;as well as there are 4 subjects were rate as the Second、Third Class of Hangzhou Province Key Sbuject such as General Surgery Department、 Gastrology Department ,And 8 Jiande Province Key Subjects.
